Ride on it with my OneWheel and I had a blast! Got a bit lost at a certain point as the trail split at a park, but I found my way back on it! Totally fun trail!
First time here. It's quite a wide trail, full of walkers, bikers and some runners and dogs. There are no restrooms on this trail, so make sure you're empty before starting. I will come again and will use this trail to get me back into running again.
It is a neat clean little bike trail. It is not very long but, is a nice place to ride. It is not super intuitive when you cross streets. Be sure to look for the small blue & white signs that help direct you when you cross streets
Easy ride with a slight uphill to lower Peter’s Canyon Trail. 16 mile trip from home to the Walnut Trail, Peter’s Canyon Trail to West Irvine Trail
We are at the northern section on of the trail that stands alone. Will be great if ever connected to the longer southern section. We are staying at Rancho Jarupa RV Park (great place). You can ride 2 miles right out of the park along a peaceful street/turn right at the signal on the sidewalk of the bridge over the river to the dog park. From there you can go 10 miles to the south end of the trail. It does follow the river but lots of areas need clean up of dead trees etc but still a great ride. (Not much bothers us). Some homeless camps by the water in one area but no bother.
From Seal Beach to Los Alamitos this is fun. After that you hit sone random cool spots up into Bellflower. After that its all industrials, menkey back yard ranches, dried up river beds, homeless camps & trash. Im continually blown away by how many people live in the California river beds.
I away used to ride this trail ever since a couple months ago
Took the path from LA sierra to Main Street and back. Around 11 miles, it's pretty easy. No hills. 9/26/24
