Grant's Trail

Great Urban Trail

June, 2024 by n2shoebiz

We rode this trail for the first time in June 2024. It is level, well marked and passes along many suburban municipalities in the St. Louis area, the athletic complex in Affton, Grant’s Farm and Historical Site, Thomas Sappington House and The Barn (great place to stop for brunch). It can be crowded, especially around Grant’s Farm.

Frisco Highline Trail

Nice ride

June, 2024 by joglazewski

Rode the 16 mile section from Springfield to Walnut Grove on hybrid bikes. The first 8 miles on 10 ft wide asphalt in decent shape through woodlands. Adjacent to road and past light industrial areas but buffered by vegetation. Next 8 miles on packed gravel through meadows and farmland.

Fulbright Spring Greenway

Once is enough

June, 2024 by joglazewski

Narrow, twisty, paved trail with sharp hills (trappy) runs besides, over and in three places through a lovely creek. Mostly shaded, scenic enough but nasty on a road bike. Maybe a Mountain bike?

arrowhead to Windsor

June, 2024 by hn72qs9by5

Used this trail to connect from arrowhead stadium to Windsor Katy trailhead. Needed to ride roads from Lee summit to pleasant hill. Trail after pleasant hill has almost no service. But great trail and highly recommend!

Meramec Greenway Trail

Not what we expected.

May, 2024 by psalm3321_tl

Started in Glencoe at the miniature railroad depot. Trail started out promising but seemed to get more and more narrow and is poorly marked. We attempted to follow the Al Foster trail. This really isn’t a 10 plus mile trail as it’s broken up. We originally started in Eureka and quickly realized the trail stops after roughly 1.7 miles. Luckily for us that after a few miles of an ever shrinking trail, we decided it wasn’t for us. Got back to our vehicle and put everything away just before a storm came through.

Little Blue Trace Trail

Excellent trail, most parking lots highly unsafe

May, 2024 by 9v76nkgry6

I love this trail and have frequented all parts of it for many years now. I’m so disappointed and frustrated that there are so many cases of break ins to the vehicles of those out on the trail. Just today I went to park at the Bly Rd. entrance and a sheriff was there because someone had broken into two vehicles while the owners were on the trail. At this point, the ONLY locations to park at IMO are the one by ColdStone Creamery and at Natural Grocers. By extension this is very limiting to which parts of the trail I will be walking on. So sad and frustrated at the escalation of this crime. User be very aware.

Harry Wiggins Trolley Track Trail

Creve Coeur Park Trails

Nice ride

April, 2024 by 4x9c6qc6yf

Rode this for Celebrate Trails Day. It’s a nice smooth ride that is mostly flat. It was a little crowded on a Saturday morning, but that is to be expected. There is plenty of room to pass. I was a little confused where the trail goes by the sports fields, but figured it out. We visit the park occasionally. It’s a nice spot to have a picnic or just hang out and watch the world go by.

Ruby Jack Trail

Pleasant ride

February, 2024 by wegot2go

Nicely shaded well packed gravel trail. Parked our RV at the Carthage Trailhead in the nearby park. Parking available for cars at the trailhead. Remote trail so bring water and snacks.

Centennial Greenway

Obnoxiously Close To 170

January, 2024 by yvd9rhrxjg

Man this stretch would be mint if I could actually hear myself think along the parts that are literal feet from 170. So much energy and effort building a nice paved trail that is once again ruined by vehicles
