Rode it for the first time today and really enjoyed it. It’s beautiful and well maintained. Love riding through the swamp and enjoying the sounds and smells. The critters were wonderful and a took a t-spur into Graham Swamp which was gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back probably TOMORROW!!!!
Walked the Preserve and Boardwalk because its a little sketchy but rode from the preserve to the lighthouse and back! Beautiful ride. It is more of a sidewalk but no issues at all with the ride!
I have done this trail several times now I once did it at midnight and I could honestly say I never felt threatened. The reason why I only do 3 star is because half of this trail you are literally next to traffic. Also if you don’t have the map on your phone you will definitely get lost they need to keep up with the maintenance of signs.
It didn’t have a ton of scenic, but there was a lot of shade so even if it was in the middle of the day, there was places where you could drive without being in full sun… I have ridden in about a year or so 14 mile ride was still doable my ride just
Great ttail. Follow it from Titusville to Lake Mary in March 3026. Other trails were also rode.
Parked in the park on the South side of the bridge and started the trail from there. Road approximately 11 miles to Hastings. Turned right on Main Street and went about 2 blocks and ate lunch at Norma D’s. Great little local restaurant and the sandwiches were fantastic. Headed back the way we came. We had beautiful weather, 78 degrees and a slight breeze. Great ride!
This trail is great. Beautiful scenery, great downtown area, lots to do!
My husband and I rode this trail today (3-31-26) and had a great experience. The trail is well-maintained and the downtown area is so cute. We stopped a couple of times for lunch and coffee. I would highly recommend this trail. Beautiful trees and open spaces, with lots of rest stops throughout the ride.
I was visiting my friend and Palakta is her home. I started trail at Hitchcock’s grocery store because best place to park to get right on trail. From this location it was 19.3 miles to end of trail. There is one restroom along the way and it’s about 16 miles. There is the town of Hastings that has restaurants etc. and it’s about 8 miles from Palakta. Once at the end of trail, it just ends and you will see the railroad track and that’s it. You are not in the city of St. Augustine. There is no bench or anything.
Parked at Bobby Sheppard ball park in Hampton and road 18 miles to Putnam Hall then back. Nice parking at the park, the trail is paved, smooth and has a lot of shade. Road ebikes. Not much bike or ped traffic on trail. Stopped in Keystone Heights at Pangborn Ice Cream!!!
Great paved trail. Lots of stop signed but smooth sailing otherwise
