Archer Braid Trail

Good trail

January, 2026 by sjf0809

I rode my bike on this trail in November, 2025. The surface was in good shape. The trail did cross may driveways into businesses and homes, as well as crossing some streets into subdivisions, none of which was a problem. The traffic noise did not bother me. I feel that it just comes with the territory of a trail alongside a highway, and then let it go. Since I did get off I 75 to bike this trail, I ended up parking at Publix Super Market, which was about midway on the trail, rather than driving to Archer. I also biked the spur or loop that included the Veterans Memorial Park. I rode a total of 26 miles, which took me about 2 1/2 hours.

BORING

January, 2026 by jcparker914

The trail was about 10’ wide And definitely no bathrooms. Very desolate very very few people around we went on a Saturday afternoon. Cloudy it probably would’ve been hot if the sun was out it was 75 and cloudy if you like cows and trees you would enjoy it. We went about 7 miles and turned around. We sort of liked this path but other than that it was boring I thought and so did my wife. We started on the south end by Auburndale Trail and continued on to this trail about

Starkey Wilderness Park Paved Trail

such a good skate trail

December, 2025 by brookeypav

I’ve skated this trail so many times. Brought my speed teammates out here and they enjoyed it. Seen a bobcat before. Lots of deer. Such a smooth and fun trail

Starkey Wilderness Park Paved Trail

Starkey Wilderness Trail

November, 2025 by rockieslights

Not the longest trail (about 6.5 miles) but a really enjoyable one. Starts in Starkey Wilderness Park, which is worth a visit on it's own. The trail runs from the park and eventually through some scrub. Watch for deer, fox squirrels and even alligators. At the end of the trail is a nice surprise...a new bathroom and water station (built in 2023). The trail ends at this station as it intersects with the Suncoast Trail. You'll be out in the sun for much of the ride, but the surface is smooth and the further you get from the park, the fewer people you will see.

Starkey Wilderness Park Paved Trail

Wide and smooth paved trail.

October, 2025 by kippmich

We ride from the bike trailhead inside the park to the Suncoast trail. It’s right around 6.5 miles each way. Nice and smooth trail with many people using the trail with different modalities. Spotty shade before noon, would be pretty much full sun midday.

Gorgeous trail. A lot of wild life. Boars, gators, deer, birds, cows. You’d see it all. Most of the trail is very well maintained. A small part at the beginning of trail is a bit bumpy. Definitely worth the ride.

South Lake (Lake Minneola Scenic) Trail

beautiful ride

July, 2025 by lmu828

This is a beautiful ride with a very nice trail. Lots of cyclists, walkers, runners, and even roller blading. It’s very scenic and I felt safe by myself on this trail.

Good Neighbor Trail

warning

June, 2025 by dbrunoehler

always a great trail. so well maintained and marked. hence why we were surprised to encounter the large pile of sand close to marker 6160. both our bikes fishtailed. 3 other bikers were stopped. 2 others went to the highway to avoid.

Withlacoochee State Trail

One of the great trails in Florida

June, 2025 by rockieslights

This 46 mile trail has a little of everything. Parts have nice shade, some areas are rural and some areas go through small towns. There are multiple access points. Highlights for us were Floral City near the midway point, Ft. Cooper State Park access, and Inverness where the trail skirts the water. There aren't many difficult road crossings and not many climbs to get over high intersection bridges. As of our last ride in 2025, the trail was in good shape. Not terribly crowded. An outstanding ride.
