We rode this trail in January of 2021. Well maintained and pleasant to ride. We highly recommend this trial.

Gainesville-Hawthorne State Park Trail

excellent trail

July, 2021 by tracimorris16

We rented ebikes to try them before we get ours and this trail was so much fun. The hills and it’s shaded made it enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway (Santos Trailhead to CR 200)

Loved this trail!

June, 2021 by fkfc7r84mz

Very beautiful, smooth, shady, and well marked trail. Started at the Santos trailhead. It was 151/2 miles to the end. Turn around is a cul-de-sac for the 15+ miles back. Went on a Sunday in the summer and had a mix of walkers, runners and cyclists. No water or restrooms except at the Santos trailhead.

Tomoka State Park Trail

Beautiful but short

June, 2021 by godzooky99

The south part if this trail is one of the best scenic “woodsy” bike trails. You want it to go on longer. But Tomoka state where the map says it starts isn’t a bike trail. Very scenic and pretty but mostly for fishing and camping. I recommend doing the asphalt trail in the woods from Tomoka state park to Inglesa Ave. or park at Inglesa and ride to Tomoka state park.

Mike Roess Gold Head Branch Connector to the Trail in Keystone Heights

June, 2021 by stephens021

We were Rving at the State Park and completed a 34-mile ride using the 6-mile connector to get to the trail in Keystone Heights. If I were to do it again I would have parked in Keystone Heights as the 6-mile connector is adjacent to SR-100 and very uneventful. The area south of Putnam Hall was really pretty, but like many of these trails you do see the road, houses etc. Great surface for riding. We did see plenty of Gopher Tortoises out of their burrows, Fox Squirrels, and even saw a large brown snake going into a GT burrow.

Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail

great place to ride

June, 2021 by robert210

Went down last week and rode with my daughter. It being a train route the trail is arrow-straight and pancake-flat. Saw folks rocking aero bikes and kids with training wheels. Lots of services available along the route. Well done!!

Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail

too hot mid day

May, 2021 by pgi855

A lot of this asphalt trail is not shaded, some running just to the side of the road.

6th Street Rail Trail

Great connector trail

May, 2021 by zamoracd

Don’t let the short mileage fool you. This little nugget moves you through some great breweries, right next to one of Gainesville’s bike shops, you cruise by a grocery store all while connecting you to a series of longer trails. And it does so very Safely through downtown Gainesville. I appreciate this trail immensely.

Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail

Great Ride

May, 2021 by g.deyoung1007

This trail was the third this week. We are tired, but- ONE more on the way home! It was nice, shady, had some bridges to go under. It truly is 14.5 so 29 round trip. It was smooth for the most part. It is a well liked trail and we saw many cyclists and walkers.

Lehigh Greenway Rail Trail

dappled sunlight.

May, 2021 by g.deyoung1007

What a gorgeous trail! Quiet, few curves, only a couple of road crossings. The dappled sunshine was wonderful and the day was cool enough to truly enjoy the ride.

Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail

Nice Ride

May, 2021 by ckoher

My husband and I rode the entire length and back of this trail today. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a ride. We had a heck of a ride to Baldwin with the strong headwinds the entire ride. The east and west trailheads were very basic. The east end had a bathroom. The west end had a port a pot. Just in from the west end about 3 miles you will find the Baldwin Train Depot, we stopped and rested a bit there. There was a bathroom at the nature preserve a little further along. Close to the midway point was another trailend. The ride was nice, but not much to look at. We did see some gopher tortoises, I spotted a. Deer, but that was about it.

Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail

So we'll maintained and shady

May, 2021 by delmarva_cycles

What a wonderful ride from Baldwin to mile marker 5 and back. With my bad knee, I have to keep it under 20 miles, and this was a lovely mostly shady ride.
