Mostly shaded. Fun ride early in the day otherwise too many people. Small inclines. Park at land bridge and you can go horseback riding too.
Western half of it is under construction still. Looks like it's almost done. We did sneak under the barricade (Not that I'd recommend it, we upset a Duvall workman). We were able to ride the whole trail.
What a great trail! Didn’t expect the inclines but was a lot of fun riding down!
Can anyone tell me if this trail is open , Have tried calling and no answer
What a wonderful job was done to make this a very enjoyable ride. The nicest trail I have ridden so far. A must if you are in the area.
This trail is 29 miles long. It's a very safe ride, with a few road crossings, but not bad at all. Mostly shaded asphalt all the way through. Currently under construction, unfortunately.
Really enjoyed this trail , we did it in 3 separate rides . So nice !! There are mile markers along the way . Very peaceful and runs beside highway 100 for a big part . Crosses roads in a few places but very safe . Highly recommend.
This is a great ride. Its a little crowded on the Gainesville side, but beyond that very peaceful. The surface does need a little maintenance. The wood bridges probably need some new wood and there are several root spots.
We started Imeson trailhead, great not to have to worry about cars, however we passed 2 all terrain motorized off road vehicles on the trail! Kind of scary seeing 4x4s coming towards you. Will try to get a picture and report them next time. Overall love this trail.
Although I Love this trail , there are areas where it needs some work , heaved pavement from tree roots . Would love to see Mile markers along the way as well . Definitely recommend it .
The surface is great, vegetation is nice, but you’re riding within 75-100 feet of a highway with constant car and truck traffic. Anything but quiet and serene as the description implies.
