Very beautiful trail with alot of trees and a river. Loved the old stone tunnel and old barn. Very nastalgic looking.Well maintained. Appreciate the crew out clearing limbs and debris off trail, when we were out riding. Thanks
Only 3 stars cause of dog poop on bike tires every time we go. Trail itself probably a 4
Did the trip today. Trail is definitely uphill on the way. Surface is decent, although there are some bumpy spots. Ate at Lem’s and had a good meal. Met some of the locals and heard some interesting stories about the town. Return trip was quick. Good facilities at Millersburg.
Nice paved trail through the heart of Ohio Amish country. Pass through a Handful of small towns. Leave a little extra time to enjoy them. Trail has great scenery throughout. Looking forward to returning this fall.
Amazing trail! Went cycling there today, well maintained a great place to go walking or biking it wasn't busy when I was there. Definitely going back! Love it!!
Don’t bother they’re trimming trees and won’t let you go around them.
Overall a nice ride. Great little bike shop called Donna’s Bike shop in Lisbon. Very shaded trail but not a lot to see, would be nice if there were some places near river to pull off on a hot day. Rode the entire trail from Lisbon to the other side of Leetonia, which is kinda a creepy town. Only people we seen were other bikers riding the trail. Did see some cows relaxing in the shade near the bikers fence. I will agree with another reviewer, dangerous intersections, people fly down the road with no care to the people on trail and many crossing are on main roads with poor visibility. Be careful
We ( recumbent trike & e-bike) headed West from the Kiwanis park. Turned around after 9km as the surface was really tough on the trike. There’s 2 good wheel tracks for bikes, but the trike had to ride partially in the coarse trail ballast. Scenic area with farm views and a huge windmill farm in the distance.
Today we rode about 13 miles south from the northern most point. Easy peasy, except some small branches & twigs from a bad storm. Wide, flat trail in real good shape.
Early August, hot Summer day. We traveled over an hour to get to this trail, worth the commute. Parked in Orwell and biked to Austinburg where we had lunch at the Subway located in the Pilot truck stop, just a half- mile off the trail. Take the Clay Street exit from the trail. Trail is mainly shaded so that helped! We ended up biking to I-90 before turning around to head back to our car in Orwell. 40 mile round trip. A beautiful day on the trail for an enjoyable ride as always. Surface is paved in very good condition, flat in both directions. Several parking areas along the trail and a few random benches and/or picnic tables.
