I use this to commute to Midtown. There is only one cohesive portion from Fairhill down to Carnegie. At the bottom of that hill beneath the overpass, there is trash, glass, car tires and mud. It’s dangerous when coming down the hill. It then quickly turns in to a traffic mess five way stop. I don’t recommend using this for leisure.
The crushed stone was a little dusty but the beauty of the trail more than made up for it! Enjoyed a bite to eat and live music at https://szalaysfarm.com/. We will return again!
Nicely paved, smooth trails. Small elevation gains. Leisure trail with casual riders and walkers. Nice add on to a Cleveland Zoo visit.
My dog Bailey and I are always looking for a new place to go. Glad I chose this location. Beautiful, clean and great hike!
Miles 1-5 desperately need repaved. Gaps where pavement have separated, jar you and your bike. Feeble attempts, on some of them to fill in have created just as annoying bumps. What used to be a very decent trail has definitely taken a turn for the worse. No longer a pleasure to ride!!!
Very disappointed when I invited my Dad to meet me on this trail yesterday to ride after work! There are no trail markings or signage to let you know how to follow the bike trail which had us all twisted up and fighting with the city street traffic it was terrible!!
We started on W65th and Gordon Square which is a beautiful area, so they got the right idea with putting the trail over there but there has GOT to be better directions. If I would have brought my whole family, kids and all it would have been all bad how mixed and mashed up the route is!
Do better Cleveland Metroparks!
Very well maintained, smooth, and has decent inclines. Excellent parking and well marked.
Beautiful scenery and a well maintained asphalt trail. Predominantly flat with a couple elevation changes that are noticable. Minimum traffic.
