Pumpkinvine Nature Trail

Beautiful trail

September, 2023 by jgabos

Very nice, well maintained. Great great trail for getting the miles in. Shipshewana to Goshen is as good as it gets. Coming back...whew, mostly entirely uphill to varying degrees. I'll be back in the fall for the colors.

Ionia to Pewoma

September, 2023 by dmrober25

We rode today from Ionia to Pewoma. The trail was cleared from the trees that were down in August. It was a beautiful ride with the leaves starting to fall. About 22 miles out and back!

Ionia to Saranac

September, 2023 by dmrober25

We road today from Ionia to Saranac. What a beautiful ride. The trail was in great condition with the leaves just starting to fall. We parked in Ionia by the trailhead which worked out perfect. It was about a twenty mile ride there and back.

Rough Riding

September, 2023 by julie.bushee

Originally saw how nice the trail was in Lowell, decided to ride to Belding and back. After first few miles of beautiful trails it quickly became quite rough, actually very rough. We made it round trip but will definitely not be back. It’s unfortunate it’s not being maintained. We live closer to and have ridden the Kal Haven Trail which is a lot nicer. Also surprised there are no restrooms anywhere on the trail.

8/25/2023 - trees across path

Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park

lovely ride

August, 2023 by tjmodd

We started at Whitmore Lake Road and biked 3 miles past Gregory. The parts of the trail that are paved are excellent. And road bike worthy. The crushed stone path is also very well-kept. There are some leaves and debris across the trail but nothing alarming. My husband and I were on mountain bikes. However, we saw many people on road bikes on the crushed stone. Beautiful scenery. We will ride this again.

Angola Trail

Pokagon State park to Commons park

July, 2023 by johnberger113

Great trail especially riding e-bikes since part of the trail is hilly. Ice cream, yogurt, and food found along the way. Riding to Commons park puts you just east of downtown Angola. Very clean restrooms at the park. Check out this link to watch my ride of the trail https://youtu.be/BSH6-eiC3kQ

Fred Meijer Flat River Valley Rail Trail

really rough asphalt

From building to Greenville is a good 5 miles of extremely rough asphalt, almost crushed gravel, and it about shook my innards out

Pumpkinvine Nature Trail

Fabulous

July, 2023 by mccurdy.john

My son and I just returned from riding the Pumpkinvine for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The word to best describe it would be bucolic.

The trails is great, the scenery is great (especially Krider's Garden in Mulberry), and it's nice to be among the Amish and learn more about their lifestyle.

Highly recommend!

Pumpkinvine Nature Trail

Those Amish can sure ride a bicycle fast

July, 2023 by trob4cy

Nice trail and very interesting area with many Amish passing you on a bicycle pulling large trailers full of all types of supplies and materials.

Be a lot nicer if all the gaps are filled without using roads.

Kent Trails

Trails yes, roads no

June, 2023 by jgabos

The trails are nice, shady, fun ride. Clean. DO NOT like riding 76th street at all.

Eliason Nature Reserve Trail

Very nice trail and nature preserve

June, 2023 by bnicholsii

Nicely paved and shaded trail. Restrooms at the south end. Parking lots on either end. Rolling hills.
