This trail is great for road cycling. It is clean and not congested. It is an easy ride with nice coverage, so the sun doesn't beat down on you for the entire ride. Nice when you just want to get up and get a solid ride in.
Great trail to hike!
Rode this on a beautiful Sunday. Awesome trail if you’re looking for a leisurely ride. On a hot day this is a perfect trail -the tree canopy keeps the sun at bay. The trail is well maintained-bumps are not an issue. I would suggest parking in Adrian instead of Tecumseh. The parking area in Adrian has a covered pavilion, drinking fountain and ample parking.
It is really nice Trail next to the river with some attractions at the ends of the Trail (now closed probably due to COVID-19). Path clean and comfortable to run or ride a bike. A lot of restrooms, benches, Swings on the Trails and both ends of the Path. Most Trail cover with the shade, because of the trees and whole time We can enjoy river following the Path.
Rode from the Jerry Russel Trail through the Hill-Jo Trail to the end of the Baw Beese. The Jerry Russell Trail is in Jonesville and features cute bird houses. The Hill-Jo trail runs along M99 and is junk! We ended up riding on the road next to the trail because it’s so poorly paved. The Baw Beese Trail is by far the nicest of this regional trai@z I suggest parking south at the park and riding north.
Crushed gravel with plenty of parking and bathrooms at each end of the trail. Certainly one of the best trails I’ve ever been on in the little town of Grand Rapids across the river is great to stop at to get something to eat.
Love this trail! They clear snow off quickly and there is hardly ever any type of debris on the trail. The ability to ride from the University of Toledo to Wildwood Metropark is awesome!
Caught the trail at Old Acadia Park in Spencerville. 8 mile ride up to Delphos where trail abruptly changed to grass. Nice crushed gravel, well maintained flat trail, no benches or rest stops in this section though. Canal on one side and fields on the other, a pleasant ride.
Great trail wife and I rode it for the first time!
great riding one of the prettiest sections is from Fort Wayne to New Haven along the Maumee River
Beautiful trail rode from Bowling Green to North Baltimore. Everything was immaculate.
We rode the fishing line from GeneStratton Porter into Rome City, back on the trail around Sawyers Barn, all the way to Kendallville, Riley Road and back! It’s a great ride a little over 20 miles!! ML
