September 2023-Ottawa Beach at Holland State Park to Port Sheldon and back. 20 mile round trip. Holland and surrounding areas have a great trail system. Almost every road has a paved trail along side of it, separated by a grassy section. You can ride and ride! Biked North on Lakeshore Road and for the return ride, took Butternut Drive to New Holland then 168th Avenue back to Holland State Park. While in this area of Holland, be sure to check out Big Red, Hollands Lighthouse and also climb the stairs at Mt. Pisgah for an awesome view of Lake Michigan. Stick around for the sunsets!
From building to Greenville is a good 5 miles of extremely rough asphalt, almost crushed gravel, and it about shook my innards out
Nice trail and very interesting area with many Amish passing you on a bicycle pulling large trailers full of all types of supplies and materials.
Be a lot nicer if all the gaps are filled without using roads.
This trail serves as bicycle friendly way to get you from Elkhart down to Goshen to connect to the Pumpkinvine trail. The route goes along a road and through the cemetery. It gets you from point to point. It is better than not having a trail if you want to get somewhere along here but would not travel out of my way to ride this trail.
The trails are nice, shady, fun ride. Clean. DO NOT like riding 76th street at all.
Nicely paved and shaded trail. Restrooms at the south end. Parking lots on either end. Rolling hills.
We parked at the SP going west, it’s downhill for a few miles. Much of the crushed stone is like pavement, a few sandy spots. Riding a tandem going 10 miles each way. A nice ride with some history and much shade.The last few miles coming back are up hill,a bit tough but a good trail. Frankie
Started at Linear Carpark going east taking the loop around the city. Don’t pay attention to the old reviews! This trail is fine, a bit bumpy to start, some has new blacktop. Two short detours, be sure to follow, but otherwise a great trail, safe easy to follow. We did 13 miles, Frankie
Just awful! Caught it south of Covert and quickly abandoned it. Chose to use the county roads.
Rode the route from Shipshewana to Middlebury (and back) and found it to be a great ride with beautiful views. Would ride this again and would recommend.
