I needed to complete an 11 mile run while I was visiting Cincinnati. This trail was well maintained and primarily flat in the section I ran. The scenery was beautiful. I ran early in the morning and had my headlamp and light up vest - felt safe running alone.
The Little Miami Scenic Trail has 6 breweries between Mariemont and Kings Mill. CHEERS! 50 West Brewery - Mariemont Little Miami Brewery - Milford Trailhead Brewery - Miamiville Narrow Path Brewery - Loveland The Monkey Bar and Grill - Fosters Cartridge Brewery - Kings Mill
Well maintained and a great 50 miles down and back. Very well marked.Just be slow on the curves. You never know who will be on the other side.
10.6 miles? Maybe if you drive to each section. There are some nice parts, but very short, as the trail is broken up in to smaller sections.Creekside Gahanna is nice and the section by Hoover has a nice view.
A great find! A mostly flat paved trail. Special surprise of a ride-across creek crossing.
A new section of this trail was created probably last summer/fall. We rode this today and the new section is probably 2-3 miles. it runs south of Meredith State Rd alongside US 36/Rt 3 crossing over 605 and stopping just about halfway between North Condit and Sunbury. Also, at the northern terminus it looked like some clearing was underway to connect it to the heart of ohio trail, but thats just a guess. Anyway, its real flat and mostly tree covered with a nice little ravine at one point. Good stuff
Only if Hocking Hills park would have bike trails then this wouldn't be my favorite trail in mid-Ohio. I love riding through the rock cliffs and even use the picture of the 1851 railway cut on my iPhone home screen. Easy trail, and it would be better if the state could snag some of those infrastructure dollars for shoring up the weak parts and resurfacing. Easy walk from the east Terminus to the larger cliffs as it's only about 1/2 mile from the parking lot. The river, and cliffs on the north side are also very scenic with kayakers floating down the river in the summer...
Very disconnected. Multiple small trails intersections and signs are not clear going north to south.
Amazing trail for dog walking or bycicle riding
Nice crushed stone surface. Went Bellefontaine to West Liberty, very quiet and peaceful. Received a wonderful frog serenade when passing a wetlands area! What a treat.
