A mix of cinder(about 2 miles in New London) and large stone and rough terrain the rest of the trail made for a rough, uncomfortable and tricky ride. The nice mix of sun and shade along the entire trail was a positive. Not recommended.
Wish I’d had time to ride more of the trail. Excellent condition (mostly) and not too many people on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Got on in Lindsey at the park and headed west all the way out to the end and back. Lots of little rest areas and bike pumps, restrooms at Lindsey and beautiful views, plus lots of shade for the hot days. Only saw one other road bike. Note: turn right to cross under the interstate when heading west. Trail continues immediately after going under bridge (to your left) but is not currently marked. Brand new pavement.
First time on this trail. Started off at the North Lake park. The covered trail with the tree canopy was a little chilly. But the views were amazing. Traffic was very light. The path is well maintained. This is one of my favorite thus far.
Ok section, kind of dull. Agriculture & cows. Found a bit of shade by a grain elevator for lunch. Several washouts filled with tumbleweeds as you get closer to Lind.
Took the kids for a bike ride on this trail! It wasn’t over crowded. Beautiful scenery too! Enjoyed stopping at the parks along the way for the kids to play at.
Great scenic country trail. Paved the whole way and no incline.
Great trail to downtown wadsworth. Would love to see it extended!
We started at the Danville in trailhead & rode west into downtown Mt. Vernon, & back. Scenic, especially since we were surrounded by fall colors. Wasn't much traffic ( Tuesday morning) but it was busier near Gambier ( Kenyon College)..
Beautiful trail with lots of different views, wooded to open farmland. Creeks and hills, with alot of fall foliage. We'll maintained, nice trailheads, with restrooms and picnic tables and benches.
We started in Akron and rode about 18 miles north. Loved it!!!
Not sure what the September reviews are talking about. Rode this trail today from route 97 to Mansfield and back, for 21 miles. We had no scary issues. A few bumps. Awesome crisp fall day. The fences were in place to protect from going into a deep ravines. We would ride this trail again. Not on a Sunday because the nearby Der Dutchman restaurant was closed. ¿
