I did this trail twice in a weekend. I liked it.
Really nice biking trail wooded on both sides this year they repaved it from Fredericksburg to Millersburg the trail is smooth and flat most everyone is friendly!
Super nice trail to ride on a fall day . Well maintained. The ride from Bowerston to scio is very beautiful any time you ride . Make sure you stop at the dairy bar in the summer and take a trip up to Main Street to the country pub food is great and so is the service
Nice trail for walking, running, and cycling. On the Saturday morning that I rode this, there were two guys blowing leaves off the trail, so it is being maintained. Be aware that there is about a quarter mile of the route that is off trail and you’re on a country road. The road doesn’t appear to be heavily traveled, though.
Lovely views but the trail condition as of 9/23 was terrible. Loose gravel throughout, numerous areas of severe pavement heaving, overgrown weeds hanging onto the trail, loose and warped boards on bridges, and a section in Lincoln Park that was unable to be ridden on due to sand and heaving. Numerous intersection are dangerously obscured due to unmaintained sightlines. The entire trail looks like it has been ignored and unmaintained for some time. Email with concerns sent to Stark Parks.
Very nice ride till you get to Leetonia. Then it's brick roads and up and down street hills, then you're good to go on the other side of town to Washington ville.
Went to ride some trails in Zanesville and decided to go a little further east and check out this little trail and boy am I glad I did. This is just one sweet little honey of a trail. It may be a little bit short and a little bit lacking in scenery, but it is super well-kept and has easily some of the nicest little rest spots I’ve ever seen off of it. It does follow closely to Route 265 & goes under 70 so you do hear a little bit of traffic but you never see any of it. It’s a wonderful little trail that I will ride again whenever I’m in this area.
Really enjoyed this trail nice and shaded by trees and really peaceful. Everyone were very freindly.
It is amazing here. I just rode here recently with our horses, and it was so nice! Definitely will come again soon!
Trail is maintained very well on a weekly basis, but… mile 0-5 have deteriorated over the past 3-4 years to where you are in for a very bumpy (and unsafe) ride. Gaps in the asphalt are extremely jarring to both rider and bike and make for an unpleasant ride. Some sections have been filled in, creating just as jarring humps on trail. Some gaps are an accident waiting to happen. Trail has many loyal users who deserve better to happen. Trail has many loyal users whichdeserve
This week I rode the trail from Brinkhaven to Glenmont. It was as nice a section of the Ohio to Erie as I've done so far. A well maintained trail through forested rolling hills. And, very little poop.
